armed attack
against one or more of them in
Europe

shall be considered an
attack
against them all and consequently they

armed attack
occurs, each of them, in
exercise

self-defence

shall be
ratified

Parties

with their respective
constitutional
processes

deposited
as soon as possible with the
Government

United States of America

signatories

enter into force
between the
States
which have
ratified
it as soon as the
ratifications
of the
majority

Belgium

Canada

and shall come into
effect
